Rexburg summer
Greetings, this has been an eventful summer. Katie is 39 weeks pregnant and counting. Jeff is working hard and enjoying a good break in between classes. We both fall asleep each night wondering if we'll wake up to a delivery. It hasn't happened yet...so here is what we've been up to in our time of waiting.
The first day of summer was the Credit Union's annual picnic. It seemed the whole community came out. Jeff was assigned to the fish scramble. This is a really fun event where kids enter a makeshift pond with 50+ fish to try and catch one. Jeff was there to herd and help

Lastly this is a classic moment in the late stages of pregnancy.

Distributing drinks wasn't nearly as cool...
After words Jeff helped take down the pond. Does this look Idahoan or what?
Then one of the best parts was all the leftover chocolate milk...we willingly took it off their hands
Next one of Jeff's good friends from Arizona, Tyrel Hansen, came up to visit! They had a blast together in the morning. Can you guess where they are in this picture???

Lets look out a little farther...

Eh eh??.... alright last shot

They hiked "R" mountain. This is the Rexburg equivalent of hiking the "Y" in Provo. Here is Ty in front of the sign going up. All thumbs up!
Here is a nice view about half way up. This was a good chance to catch up, nothing like good friends!
As we continue to get ready for baby, our office has begun to transform into a nursery! Jeff built the crib the other night, and Katie put some of the blankets we have in it.
Here is the final product.

We also went to Lava Hot Springs this last weekend with Val and Merilee, it was a lot of fun and great to be with family. Well hopefully by next post we will have a cute little girl in that crib!
