Birthdays, Easter, and Beyond

March began with Jeff's birthday. We had some fun decorations (including a finger painted sign made by two cute little girls), had a dinner with Katie's family, and went out to eat with Jeff's parents. We also got a piano! We've been wanting one since we got married, and we finally were able to get one. It is a digital piano, and it looks and plays great. We got a sweet deal on it, and couldn't be happier!
Kayley had a blast painting daddy's sign
Lana's finger paint was made from corn syrup and food coloring. She did a great job painting until she realized that the paint was delicious :)
The traditional rice krispie treat numbers. This year was cookies and cream style.

After many more birthdays and birthday parties during the month (5 birthdays, 3 parties), March ended with Easter. Although Kayley did an Easter egg hunt last year, this year she was old enough to not only understand it, but enjoy it as well! We did two, one with the neighborhood and one at Jeff's parents. (I only have pictures from the neighborhood one).

Lana didn't hunt, but she loved playing with the eggs Kayley found!
"Look, Mom! How cool is this!"

April brought a couple more birthdays, and one birth day (we got a new nephew April 1st). We also had our 4 year anniversary! We were able to celebrate with dinner and a musical at Hale Center Theater. It was 'Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang' and we loved it! What a great 4 years these have been!
